Hymn of Silence

when do you be silent
as opposed to vibrant
when do you true self
as opposed to follow

 a question or myth was
it always was that way
centuries passed and 
years continued along

 he tried to think then
as he did think now
it could present itself
but then again elusive

 the timeless clarity
of the loudest sound
of them all and then
so silence it was then

 two sides of the same
there was no difference
not one not in million
i saw it then and now

 she seeked different
told them its a faze
it was a perspective
also true when sought

 scientists and healers
they go together is
its answer and goal
that's what she sought

 i agree no more none
its true really is
mystical or mystery
overwhelmed or natural

 it sought in its rays
ultrasound and vibrant
again and again earnest
silence was the answer

 its not defeatist no
neither is it smug
its only a word, the word?
and the greatest of them

 nothing to listen then
its all already there
just to be silent
and let it all unfold

 as thats always its been
and never changed
one unit to many light
and back to one unit

 it goes on and on
he said true and she too
never decided yet constant
it loved and gained

 then silent then all
now all now silent
it was there all saw
they knew and gained

 through the silence
through the knowledge
through the work
through the seeing

 through all silence.
